Tornado Warning!

We had our first real tornado warning last night, along with a severe thunderstorm warning that they said could produce nickel-size hail and winds 50-60 MPH. It was kind of nerve wracking and a bit scary, but in the end all was fine and it was a learning experience. We watched the doplar radar updates throughout the night (until about 1:30 a.m. when we knew the coast was for sure clear) and the worst of the storm (the funnel itself) was said to have come as close as about one mile away from our house (I think it was in the neighborhood of Abram's school). That's just a little too close for comfort! But in the end, it sounds like just rooftops and cars were damaged. (BTW-This is Shara, and it's my very first post ever! :o) -Yay for me!)

Lightning Storm!

Last night, it was so cool! Thunder and lightning went on almost constantly! We sat in the bed of the truck and watched the "show." Then, we felt a couple raindrops. 30 seconds later, it was pouring down like crazy! It was cool because the rain was freezing cold, while the ground was warm from the sun that afternoon! We tried to take pics but I guess you can't capture lightning. :)

Halloween 2007

This is a pic of the family at the Thoughtful House Halloween Party.  It was a lot of fun, they had trick-or-treating at all the offices, a mummy wrapping game (w/ toilet paper), and GFCF cupcakes and cookies (Yummm...)! Best of all, we finally got Lucas to wear a costume!

P.S. Sorry this took sooooooooooooooooooooo long! (this is Emma) btw, it was ME  who did this post! *rolls eyes at Mom*
