Tornado Warning!

We had our first real tornado warning last night, along with a severe thunderstorm warning that they said could produce nickel-size hail and winds 50-60 MPH. It was kind of nerve wracking and a bit scary, but in the end all was fine and it was a learning experience. We watched the doplar radar updates throughout the night (until about 1:30 a.m. when we knew the coast was for sure clear) and the worst of the storm (the funnel itself) was said to have come as close as about one mile away from our house (I think it was in the neighborhood of Abram's school). That's just a little too close for comfort! But in the end, it sounds like just rooftops and cars were damaged. (BTW-This is Shara, and it's my very first post ever! :o) -Yay for me!)

Congrats for your first post! A little bit of a scary topic, though. I am glad that it didn't end up being too serious, and that everyone is safe! Easton and I were on your blog yesterday "jamming out" to your sweet music!

That would be so scary! I'm glad it wasnt too bad. My sister has lived in Missouri for about 3 or 4 years now. They have tornado warnings once in a while too. It takes a while to get used to. (Although I dont know if I would ever get used to something like that, lol). Anyway, we love you!

I know we took our dogs into the closet under the stairs (kinda like Harry) and we woke my brother up so we could bring him downstairs. He started falling asleep with the dogs.
